More than new tile and fixtures

Fix what is happening behind the finishes

A dated bathroom is a design problem. Soft flooring, recurring mold, loose tile, failed waterproofing or aging plumbing are construction problems. New finishes should never be used to hide moisture or movement.

Seamless Construction Inc evaluates the layout, subfloor, shower system, plumbing, electrical, ventilation and permit requirements before coordinating the visible finishes.

Planning for coastal moisture

A bathroom built to stay dry near the coast

Coastal humidity and daily steam expose weak ventilation and waterproofing faster. We plan the shower system, air movement, plumbing and finish materials together before the walls are closed.

01

Waterproofing from the substrate out

Shower pans, wet walls, curbs, niches and transitions are built as a complete water-management system.

02

Exterior-vented exhaust

The fan must be sized for the room and vent moisture outside rather than into an attic or concealed space.

03

Older plumbing conditions

Galvanized supply lines, cast iron drains and concealed deterioration are evaluated before new walls and tile cover them.

04

Inspection-ready construction

Rough plumbing, electrical, framing and waterproofing are sequenced so required work remains visible for inspection.

Bathroom Remodeling Projects

Choosing the right scope

Bathroom refresh or full remodel

Not every bathroom needs to be torn down to the studs. The condition of the floor, walls, waterproofing, plumbing and layout usually points toward the right level of work.

A focused update may work

Consider a bathroom refresh when...

  • The room is dry, functional and free of recurring odors

  • The floor and tile feel solid with no movement

  • The layout and fixture locations already work

  • Your concerns are mainly the vanity, lighting, paint or finishes

A coordinated plan may be better

Consider a full remodel when...

  • The floor feels soft near the toilet, tub or shower

  • Mold, staining or musty odors keep returning

  • Tile or grout repeatedly cracks in the same area

  • Plumbing, ventilation or electrical systems need updating

  • A tub-to-shower conversion or layout change is required

Not sure whether your bathroom needs a refresh or full remodel?
